The pop star's father is trying to silence rumors about the singer's health, insisting she's "fine."
The Umbrella hitmaker, real name Robyn Fenty, sparked fears for her wellbeing this week after axing a planned trip to the U.K.
It came just weeks after she uploaded a snap to her Twitter page showing her hooked up to an intravenous drip in hospital and amid reports she's struggling with exhaustion and other medical issues.
A representative for the star insisted Rihanna canceled the U.K. trip to spend time with her family, and her father Ronald has now reassured fans she's OK.
He tells Britain's Sunday Mirror, "When I saw the *pictures on Twitter I was worried like everyone else. But the truth is she was suffering from flu and exhaustion.
"She'd also lost a pound or two in weight and just wasn't feeling well. Even so, I sat her down and said she needed to take things easy. I told her it was important to chill out a bit, look after herself and not take too much on for a while... (A break) is just what she needs.
"Robyn is a smart, tough girl and is fine now. She has a good team around her and friends and family who will make sure she is OK."

Ch... Y'all better thank this man. He is the main reason Ri is as messy and ****ed up as she is. Her career partly thrives off of her imperfections. Seriously though, I genuinely think he's changed and does care about Rihanna and her health. Do I think he attention seeking and money hungry? Of course, but he does love his daughter.
