Keep Oshawott; Samurott is probably the best in-game water type.
As for a fire type, the monkey kind of sucks. Catch a Darumaka in the desert after the third gym and evolve it into a Darmanitan.
For a grass type, catch a Petilil and evolve it into a Liligant; probably the best in-game grass type. Take advantage of its access to Sleep Powder and Quiver Dance.
If you want an electric type, Galvantula is your best bet. Excadrill is a great physical attacker. For a flying type, I'd go with Sigilyph. It's dual Psychic/Flying typing is really helpful, given the shitload of fighting type Pokemon in the game.
Samurott, Darmanitan, Liligant, Galvantula, Excadrill, Sigilyph. I just made a team for you.
