Why are you comparing them? I didn't compare them. FTP/Mark has had many critics give positive reviews about their lyrics/melody pertaining to broad commercial appeal. So this might be the "right song" you could be referring to. All of you are automatically making it a bad thing, which IMO shows you somewhat know it's needed.

And yes, The Civil Wars were involved in 'Safe and Sound', who are a good band unlike Foster The People. What's your point? I'm not saying no to collaborations in general, just to collaborations with rubbish bands.
