The difference is that Rihanna managed 197k on Black Friday, one of the best sales weeks of the year, while Gaga's random release in May managed 1.108M. Even discounting Amazon it would've managed 700-800k. That would easily destroy anyone else's Black Friday release.

Just as long as the next album gets half of BTW's opening then I'll be happy.

I predicted around 400k for BTW. I was way off.

Well, I'm thinking she'll still do 700k this time around if the first single does well and the music is could. That could translate to 1 million if released on the week of Black Friday, assuming there's at least a little promo.

If she debuts during a random, softer week, rather than during the holiday season, I could see the numbers being around 550k instead, though.
