Well, in comparison to the "it girls" right now, the album has not done so well. But when you think that she's a 53 year old singer with 30 years of career, no hit single, no airplay and basically no promo (no i don't count the Superbowl since that was 2 months before the album's release and that wasn't even a direct promo for MDNA), the album HAS done well.
Also it's the tour that really matters at this point of her career and she will SLAY. I'm already happy with that and more than 1 million sold for the album.

I disagree, it has sold almost the same as Femme Fatale (which had 2 hits) and in a shorter amount of time.
