but u gotta give it up to her. Madonna and Janet Jackson are really 2 of the only female pop stars who each have been here over 30 years still selling more than a lot of new artists reaching close to gold. It's ironic that they both are close in sales for MDNA and Discipline
Oh yeah, the Discipline scenario with Janet can totally fit with this. "Feedback" in 2008 I think was her first Top 20 hit since "Someone to Call My Lover" in 2001. And then the album debuted at #1, and has sold like 400,000+? (I was one of them, I loved every single song from that album)
damn oh well, better luck next time but in all seriousness the album wasn't that good, it was just recycled dance pop from the 80's and 90's no one was here for her. its gonna be hard for her to sell and have hits in this decade i mean in the 2000's she had brit, but now she has no major pop girl working with her (beside nicki). if she knows whats good for her she better squash the beef with gaga or start being bff's with katy and rihanna. just my opinion shes still the queen of pop and at the end thats all that matter.
