I have been fortunate enough to have seen Prometheus early, and I have to say it is a really good movie. Wish there was more Charlize. Fassbender is fantastic, and Noomi Rapace is a BAD BITCH.

Just got back from seeing this movie! I'm a big alien fan but this movie ***** ALL OVER ALIEN. ALIEN WHO? The actors, the direction, the plot, EVERYTHING was completely perfect and couldn't be better. I'm gonna go see it again soon in 3D because I haven't seen it in 3D yet.

and yes it is an alien prequel but they didn't admit it because you don't have to watch alien to know whats going on. It would help though.

UM? No, it doesn't hold a candle to the original Alien in my opinion and most Alien fans. Overall it's a great movie but the script is a little weak. And it isn't a straight prequel (there has to be a few more movies after this one and before Alien) because in the original Alien the space jockey seating in the craft was much bigger and the one in Prometheus dies outside the craft not in the seat and I believe it's two different planets (the one in Prometheus and the one where Ripley lands.

Saw it in Imax 3D yesterday. I LOVED it. Go see it in Imax 3D, the visuals are insane.

No other Alien squeal or prequel will be as iconic as the original Alien. I mean the chestburster scene had people vomiting in the theaters. I don't think any other movie that I'm aware of has done that.

I saw this today. It was amazing. Everything was just incredible. My 2nd fave film released this year after The Hunger Games. Charlize deserved a bigger part though.
