You may not like her artistry, but that doesn't mean it's not there.
Her approach to music is like that of a scientist.
She blends so many unconventional elements in her music and it somehow works.
That's an artist.
You have a song like Ring The Alarm, which is basically a bunch of noise.
You have an urban bass, a drum pattern, an electronic noise, and an alarm.
With that, she created this aggressive, and angry song.
And the song is basically created by her voice because the instrumental is essentially bare.
The melody is created by her voice.
The harmonies and different levels of moods in the song are all created by her voice.
That, to me, is an artist.
There are plenty of examples I can give you following this same example.
I can break down each and every single song in her discography and find artistry in it.
