The fan favorite and critically embraced "Read My Mind" will serve as the second major release from Sam's Town despite the fact that "Bones" received single treatment on Alternative radio (where it has quietly crept into the top 20) and across the globe.

RMM goes for Alternative adds January 23rd, and CHR adds on February 13th.

If people were waiting for a "Mr. Brightside"-type hit from the band, they're calls have been answered. This song is by far and away the best off the album and could even do damage on Hot AC if it were given proper promotion.

I didn't really know what other people thought of the record until now.
It's always been my fav since I heard it. Good choice, hope the video backs it up.

Bones really didn't do much for me, but I look forward to this one.

I can't wait. I've just recently been playing Read My Mind so much. It's such a great song.

This is a clear slam dunk, I have no idea why Bones was #2...it's like they didn't want to be mainstream again or something.

This is one of the best songs of 2006 (which will be released in 2007).

Should be a SMASH HIT!

It's almost like this song is destined to be a smash.
Even when WYWY was out, they were playing RMM on Alternative in moderation.

When Bones went for adds, RMM was suddenly top 60 before dropping back in the 70's and 80's.

And now that RMM has an adds date (which is still a month away), Bones has lost its bullet peaking at #19 and RMM has shot up to #62 with a bullet of +84.
