Right Where You Want Me was the most entertaining video. Special effects were perfect besides the dark video but it's was probably the most expensive. It wasn't boring either.

Well, for me, when it comes to video, its usually bands' or groups' video are usually boring, because esp for bands, they doin the vid just from the performance, they just sing along in that vid, nothing more. Why they dont do like a concept and make it more interesting?!

A concept for bands would take too much time since all band members will have to have a part in the video so performing it would be an easier way to have the band all together.

I would say her recent videos are all cheap. She needs to f#!#@*g stop hiring that Jaume De Laiguana. It's like she's officially paying all his bills.

He was good for "No", but "Dia De Enero" and "Illegal" were so boring, so uninspired. Shakira just had the biggest hit of the year worldwide with "Hips Don't Lie". I would think she would try to follow it, to raise the bar, but instead she puts out half-assed videos. The "Fijacion Oral Vol. 1" album just took home 5 Latin Grammy awards. What does she do? Release a stupid live video of "La Pared" (also directed by Jaume de Laiguana). Seriously, how lame.

Even in 1996 when Shakira and her record company had less money they still managed to make more creative and interesting videos ("Se Quiere Se Mata", "Pies Descalzos Suenos Blancos"). Even newbie Latin artists like Belinda are putting out better videos right now.

I agree 100% that Shakira's videos have been sucking as of recently. It's like she doesn't care to put any time in them. I would rather her not release it all than to release some half-assed effort.
