Well I don't think you can really measure public properly...unless you ask every person.
Plus critically is the only course we got (which usually leads to iconity). Forgetting video awards, BR got more awards for pop voal, songs e.t.c then Poker Face.
Why is the song always on songs of decades lists and stuff like that...not poker face (hmmm?)
Actually, "Poker Face" was the 3rd best song of the decade according to VH1 since "Bad Romance" was in like the top 50. But I think that's the only Decade list where "Poker" peaked higher than "Romance".
