I've never been here for a Gaga pre-release before. What can I expect? Is she secretive about revealing album/song titles, or does she just throw them at us?
She's a very interesting person is all I can say. Once it drops you'll have moments thinking "ahh that;s what she meant" and then she throws something you don't expect.
Yes, she needs airplays, they're necessary. But I forgot about the new Hot 100 rule, the Streaming/On-demand points gives much longetivity, I don't think that we should be worried about it, even if she'll have hard time to debut at #1.

Yeah, but Gaga debuting at number two would still be very depressing, because she likely won't peak any higher if that happens.
To be fair, though, Bieber only debuted at #2 because he was up against a song selling 300k+ per week, with 100M+ AI and #1 on streaming. He would have been #1 on any other week.
As for the new single,If we plan on Getting a #1,the monsters need to split up into three/four parts
One part of the fanbase gives the audio views on YT
One part of the fanbase Scrobbles on Last.FM/Spotify etc.
The other two parts of the stanbase download and request.

IDK tbh, just giving an opinion here.
theres no way in hell such a huge stan base can organize like that

Spotify also gains more users every week. If we start seeing songs get two million streams, I will not be surprised. At which point, they'd be impossible to beat.

They'll start down-regulating that, though, as they did with sales when the digital market started to explode.
