eBay pull the plug on Diana concert ticket touts
Tickets for the Diana Princess of Wales’s concert organised by Prince William and Harry to mark the tenth anniversary of their mum's death have begun to appear on auction site Ebay for anything up to £300.
But Ebay have decided in light of the nature of the event they will pull the listings and contact the sellers to explain that the tickets cannot be re-sold on eBay.
Ebay say: "In view of the unique and commemorative nature of the Concert for Diana event and as a mark of respect for the memory of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, we've decided to prohibit the resale of tickets to this event on the site.
"Any tickets currently listed will be removed as soon as possible."
"Now that the details of the event have been confirmed, we'll be contacting the charities involved to suggest ways they can further raise money for Diana's favourite causes through our eBay for Charity programme."

OK, I'm all for respecting Diana and her legacy, but this is a bit much. What's wrong with selling the tickets? If sellers can't do it on eBay they will do so somewhere else. It's nothing disrespectful, really. They are already selling Diana's image anyway with this whole concert.
