2 out of the 4 singles in the US did have physical singles and everywhere else in the world had them too. 2 more million-selling singles would take off 9 million album sales? ****ing please. Educate yourself.
"Circus" almost 3x Platinum.
Oh so you really think any bubblegum pop album is capable of selling 10m copies in the digital age? That's the whole point. Obviously not peaking in the digital era hurt her single sales by comparison, but if she had peaked later then she would have been subject to the same market constraints of piracy and there is no way she would have ever seen those album sales.

That's a silly thing to say. Would Joanne have hit it big 10 years ago?
It still would've sold 15 million+ worldwide with only 4 singles and no re-releases. Some girls can actually have their cake and eat it too.
What sales receipts? The IFPI is for worldwide sales. If I'm not mistaken the US decline is about 50% meaning BOMT would be 7x Plat and OIDIA 5x Plat. Looks like the receipts are against you sistren.
How are people finding these sales low? She debuted in 1998, she peaked well before the digital era unlike the rest of the current digital artists who have all debuted / are peaking inside the digital era. Topping that off with her lack of proper promotion for her music since 2004, these sales are honestly amazing and she remains the 10th best selling digital artists and 6th best selling digital female of all time.
Let them know.
I'm shocked how much "TTWE" & "3" have moved up since the last time we got updated numbers, while very glad. "Circus" almost 3 milli.
3,298,000, "Womanizer"
2,966,000, "Circus"
2,638,000, "Till the World Ends"
2,225,000, "3"
1,592,000, "I Wanna Go"
1,520,000, "Hold It Against Me"
1,255,000, "If U Seek Amy"
seems like they will never get RIAA certifications

Do you mean would she have sold more albums (all other things being equal in terms of her level of fame/popularity) if she released under the market climate in 99-00? Almost certainly. Just like Gaga obviously wouldn't have any 6x Platinum digital singles if she'd peaked back then.
