I'm going to the 7th gym, but I don't have fire, fighting or rock pokemons.

Darmanitan is probably the best Fire type, Scrafty is your best bet for a Fighting type. For a Rock type, I'd go with Archeops. It's also a Flying type, so you could get rid of that disgusting Unfezant.
I'm at the fourth gym now, and mine are in the 30s. I just caught a good Solosis, and I'm getting Dewott up to 36 soon

I finally got Sam to evolve into a Samurott , I think if I was an anime character in Pokemon and had my team like how it was, I think Sam would feel neglected that everyone else got to 40 and up while he was still level 35 .

Yeah, Archeops' ability is annoying. But its massive Speed and Attack make up for it...for in-game purposes, make sure to have lots of potions with you when you're using Archeops.
Braviary is good, but it comes too late in the game.
Oh yeah, if you're using Archeops, the move Acrobatics is pretty much essential.

And that's because starters level up faster than regular Pokemon...a mess.
Just put him in the front of your team and train it.
