It's not as bad as the critics are making it seem.. Yes the story line could've been much better but it's still a decent movie.. It's worth it to watch only for the special effects as well as Charlize being an awesome villain! I enjoyed it!
I liked it. The whole thing isn't as epic as the trailer makes it out to be but I still enjoyed it. I was surprised with the romance aspect being pretty unimportant.
Kristen was actually pretty good I thought. Charlize's performance was a bit much, even though I did enjoy it. (and I LOVE Charlize)

I don't think so. According to the critics, it delivers stunning visual and appropriate rendition. The problem lays mostly on the not masterful narrative, and the lack of warmth. I think it still has some interesting elements to watch.

The movie used a plethora of time explaining how the queen got the dark magic, and who could possibly break it... and you guys didn't catch any of those?

The beginning was really weak and boring. It got interesting as it developed, but that's it. Nothing amazing, visuals we're great, not that epic. The story lacked of heart and for me at least, was really simple, nothing THAT much different from the original (obviously this was the darker version).
Casting was horrible. I think that was the problem. And Kristen, oh my God.
