He was interviewed about who he will be collaborating with. People like Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Whiz Khalifa and T.I. he mentions, and then - Shakira!

We have Wiz Khalifa. We have Nicki Minaj again. We have T.I. [on "Back 2 Life (Live It Up)"], Busta Rhymes, Shakira and some other people, but working with Shakira was amazing. She's talented and one of a kind.
What about collaborating with Shakira?
My peoples played her peoples my record and they loved it. I wasn't able to be in the studio with her actually, but she's a great person. She's talented.
I'm actually really excited about this! He is great, and his new song with T.I. is good. And since it's not for her own album I'm happy. But I must admit, when I read it, I was appalled by the idea.

Im praying this is a joke.
I kinda do too sis, but think about it! It ASSURES her a US hit. That song will reach number one faster than I can spell it. This is good for Shaki! And it ain't even on her album.
But I must admit, when I read it, I was appalled by the idea.
