Having Love Spent first was my original idea, too, but then I thought it wasn't as Superbowl friendly as TUTR. I don't think the millions of people that watched the Superbowl halftime would have been that into a song about her divorce that samples a banjo.

True. Antoher issue with "Love Spent" being the first single might have been that it sounds a lot like "Hung Up" is some ways.
But "Hung Up" went #1 in 41 countries so maybe that's not really a bad thing!

I looked up things but if they Madge (still quite often) it wouldnīt be something from this era in the first place anyway. I donīt think it is making any impact at all sadly but I donīt have receipts to back me up.

I haven't heard it yet on the radio.
I don't listen that often though but if it would make any bit of an impact I would know. It's not in the top 200 on iTunes either.
In SYG Clump found out about ''Paradise'' being about suicide. I thought it was interesting and I felt like bumping this thread. So I googled and I found an interview from 2005 with Dago Gonzalez (director of the ''Paradise'' interlude on Drowned Tour) and he mentioned:
