Skin is the worst on the album for me.

Swim is good though. So are Candy Perfume Girl, Shanti/Ashtangi, To Have and Not to Hold... and the singles.

It ain't even midnight. Seriously, I've never seen that song so heavily praised outside of ATRL.

WHAT?!! Frozen is Masterpiece of a song!

But Ray of Light is so obviously the best song on Ray of Light.

I think what makes ROL especially fabulous and iconic as an album and era is how unique it really was (and still is). You can find a little bit of Björk influence here and some lyrical sampling there, but nobody else has ever achieved quite the same balance or the same effect. You can't say she was copying anybody; it truly came from her and it is truly magnificent.

TPOG might be my favorite Madonna ballad. It reminds me of my childhood.

You mean you like it more than Paradise (Not For Me), X-static Process, Rain, Live to Tell, and Nobody's Perfect?

The only one that might match it from that list is X-Static. But I also love Intervention and Crazy for You about as much.

Paradise is cute but boring (I like my Madonna songs to have hooks), Rain is lovely but dated, Live to Tell is awesome but Crazy for You is better, and I always forget what Nobody's Perfect sounds like because it isn't interesting and should never be mentioned in such a group.

Nobody's Perfect is the one people always hate because they call it obnoxious though.

And you are going to hell for some of those statements.

I just always thought TPOG was the worst on the album, it doesn't draw me in quite as much as the rest.

I love Nobody's Perfect.

But the Power of Goodbye is great too. Its one of my faves after Shanti Ashtangi.
