^People are lame. They just don't take her seriously. Jessica Simpson even tried to play into it by releasing "A Public Affair" as a cheezy lead off single, however, it seems to have backfired on her, as she tried to retreat to a more signature "I Belong To Me."

Still...once she regains some respect, perhaps she should go to the recording studio in hopes of creating tracks like "Irresistable" and "With You"...her best stuff.
