A criticism of this album that I can already foresee is that it's not particularly cohesive. I'm not one who cares about cohesion as long as I like the songs, but I can see critics ripping him for that.
Perhaps the title "Looking 4 Myself" was meant to be ironic, in that regard.
Not liking the dubstep sound of the first couple of songs but his voice sounds good. All these dubstep tracks nowadays are going to date very very badly, it's like the new New Jack Swing. "Show Me" sounds like filler. "Twisted" is hot. "Dive"....ehh, Usher albums always have these types of RnB ballads which I can't get into. When it comes to Usher I'm basically here for the 3-4 amazing singles and I'm happy with that.
I really hope the rest of "Euphoria" has a lot more bass because that live clip sounded HOT.

Yeah, based on the snippets, the first two tracks are least favorite songs.
Confessions>> Looking For Myself>> 8701>> The rest. R&B Usher will always be the rest for me, im glad he is experimenting with this new album but coming back to more of a R&B sound that he was kinda lacking on his 2 previous albums.
i kinda wish he'd kinda picked one good producer to do the whole album though. i get that he wants to appeal to a crossover audience and wants to have some hits on pop radio but i cant help but feel like he could have done that and maintained a consistent sound throughout the entire album like what justin t did with futuresex/lovesounds. maybe thats just my personal preference though, i kinda look for albums with a consistent sound rather than ones which are packed full of different sounding singles.
Calum I understand ur point but Usher said that this album was very experimental and progressive and this is what we are getting. The album is very cohesive in my opinion because Usher is really keen on showing off his emotions and insecurities this time. This album is not only about him being a player, he is introducing a very vulnerable part of himself.
