I knew someone would say this.
Angels, demons, God, Jesus, Satan, etc — these are all beings that are part of my religion. I believe they exist because I believe in my religion. Religion is based on faith, and there's no point in arguing faith, so that's that.
Aliens, on the other hand, have nothing to do with faith. The likelihood of the existence of extraterrestrial beings is low as it is. The likelihood of the existence of extraterrestrials with intelligence matching or surpassing human intelligence is much, much lower. The likelihood of the existence of "aliens", these scary, green one-eyed monsters who travel across the universe in spaceships, abduct people, and dissect them, is so low, that it's not even worth entertaining.
