I think everyone is a mix of both. Most of my friends are straight men so sometimes I feel feminine (in comparison) but then I go to the Castro and I'm instantly reminded that I'm actually dead center of the masculinity-femininity spectrum. I enjoy feminine guys though, they're usually really funny due to being more carefree and less self-conscious.

I think feminine gay guys get a reputation for being bitchy because of the attention ***** gays that simply have to be louder than everyone else and always be the center of attention. I find that guys who are constantly like that are really rare though, and usually their entire group of friends is made up of carbon copies of themselves.

I find gay guys who have to everything in their power to prove how "masc" they are to be more irritating than everything. It shows an enormous amount of insecurity and it's just not attractive at all. If you're really insanely masculine, that's cool, but please stop saying bro every 3 seconds in a sad attempt to convince me that you are super manly. I detest the word bro.

Why does it matter? That's why people poke fun and ask "Who's the woman in the relationship?" and **** like that. This is a way to get judged. I think I'm more feminine than masculine but not really feminine.
