For you girls who don't know, Queen Missy is the 17 year old rising star of swimming and 2011 FINA Swimmer of The Year. She holds the American Record in the 200 LCM Back, the World Record in the 200 SCM Back, has a LCM World Record in the 4x100M MR, and holds dozens of national high school records and national age group records for every age group from 10-18.
She's also the first swimmer to be featured in Olympic commercials (which aired during the Super Bowl) prior to qualifying for the Olympic Games.
This is definitely going to be the summer of Ryan Lochte. I think last night's trials proved that. Michael Phelps simply hasn't put in the time and effort over the last few years to such a dominant force in London.
