Just because you don't like her vocal tricks, doesn't mean she's not good at them.

Justin Timberlake said she has the best voice in the industry. She has an insane amount of recognition for her abilities. She may not be using them in a way that you'd like right now, but to deny that they exist is silly.

No one's denying it, but her technique brings it down. You can be powerful, but if it's achived via bad technique, then it's not actually power.

It's not about liking or disliking Jessie's vocal tricks. I'm thoroughly impressed by them. However, she seems to feel the need to include them in pretty much every single one of her live performances. They're not always appropriate. It's like when Christina oversings and does her runs to death—we get it, they're impressive, but they're not always wanted. It's good and bad technique all at once. If she'd take a couple lessons in restraint the results would likely be different.
