BTW, I just listened to the studio version of CN. I like it a lot more than the version she performed live! So, I'm not a "hater." I truly am stunned by all of this.
The studio version is much better. I think its a nice pop ballad in studio, but that is not the direction she is going to gofor her debut album. She's going Urban/RnB. The live performance of the arrangement's wasn't good thus hurt her sales because thejudges slammed the song. It's a shame that she got handed a bad song; she didn't have much input on picking the single. Neither did really.
Thing is, Justin's stupid promo singles are going to mess with Carly's chances of reaching the top.
I mean, I support Gotye's single way more, but I just think it would be a shame for her to miss out on the opportunity to go number one because of interference from her own manager.

As for talk of how "Part Of Me"'s video didn't help it. First "POM" is terrible. Second it came way after the song's hype was over. This is a much different situation. Unless the video is cheap/live/from her movie, it will do wonders. People hear this song and honestly really love it, I know it happened to me. That's why it's doing so well.

It's really shocking, Jessica's performance on iTunes. The judges trashed Change Nothing but they've dissed other coronation songs before and people bought them...she seems to have abandoned CN which is probably for the best. Just pretend it didn't happen and start fresh in the fall.
How is Home going up? Phillip isn't even doing promo...unless Jessica's promo is reminding people of Idol and how they need to buy his song?
