adele > jessie > gaga
problem with jessie is she doesn't have any self control, she just whips out the big wobbly notes from the word go and it sounds terrible
Technically Jessie J is the best but her Tone is harsh and a nuisance to my Ear.
Adele's Tone is Nice but i Much Prefer GaGa's Cutesy, Flirty, angry Tone.
Jessie J has strong vocals but completely mismanaged and has no control over it
GaGa has a a solid voice but can get nasally at times and by no means is on par with Kelly Clarkson or Beyonce
Adele has a stunted range but has clear command of her vocals and is very strong within her range.

It isn't about whose tone you like it is about who is best technically
Vocal Pluses: Powerful, passionate voice, with a rock tinge. Expressive and well controlled voice that does not lean on melisma to impress, though she is capable of using this vocal technique if required. Lady Gaga's low notes are well supported, and have a dark, solid and weighty timbre to them. The mid-range can be melodic and lyrical as well be utilised in a talk/singing fashion- see Poker Face.
The lower part of the belting range has a weight, and thick timbre to it along with a strong resonance. This resonance can be carried into the higher part of the chest register- past a C5- but it calls for the use of improper technique, making the sound raspier and raw, as its placed in the throat. These qualities can be eliminated, at the expense of the resonance of the voice, by mixing with the head voice. The sound produced is clearer and brighter with a healthier sound.
The head voice alone can be light and airy- see the chorus of Paparazzi- or thicker and with an operatic like tone- see the intro of Government Hooker. Lady Gaga's vibrato is strong, quick and reminiscent of that utilised by stage singers, but she is capable of singing without it if she chooses.
Vocal Negatives: Lady Gaga's high belting can sound like shouting at times, which would indicate bad technique or singing outside of her range.
Quote:
Vocal Type: Contralto
Vocal Range: 2 octaves and 1 note and a semi-tone. C3- Eb5
Whistle Register: No
Vocal Strengths: Adele's low to mid range is rounded and solid, with a soulful colouring. The lower part of her belting range is clear and bright, with a significant weight and resonance to it. However, this weight diminishes as the the chest voice is mixed with the head voice to reach the higher, fifth octave, notes- the chorus of the album version of Someone Like You. Her head voice is thick and weighty with a warmth and resonance, but isn't often used. The notes produced are further improved by her quick and natural vibrato.
Adele has brilliant control over the dynamics of her voice, being able to sing soft and airy when it suits the delivery, but switching back to a fuller tone with speed and aplomb. Definitely more an emotional singer, than a technical one.
Vocal Weaknesses: Questionable technique used to achieve the fuller sounding belted notes as well as the soulful grunts and growls she employs.

Vocal Type:Mezzo-Soprano
Vocal Range: 3 octaves and 2 notes and a semi tone C#3- F6
Whistle Register: Yes
Vocal Pluses: Jessie J has the ability to sing complex melisma without issue, and this is often noted as being a signature of her style. Along with this ability, she has the control to be able to sing trills, staccato notes and staccatissimo through complex melodies with pinpoint accuracy and uncanny pitch.
Jessie J's control, in regards to her vocal dexterity, is mirrored in her breath control. As a result she can hold notes for lengths of time without loss of quality to the sound , and sing complex and lengthy vocal lines in a single breath.
Strong mid-range that is solid, rounded, has a good dynamic to it and leads into the belting range effortlessly. The belting range is elastic and energetic, being able to reach high into the fifth octave, with the aid of mixing. The head voice alone is spritely, of medium weight and is bright and easily accessible.
Vocal Negatives: Her technique sounds improper when reaching above an E5 and as a result her voice becomes shrill and unstable.
they all have amazing and technically similar voices.
What does being a mezzo have to do with vocal capabilities. You can be a soprano and have ****** technique and sound shrill.
But they're all singers. They do not sound shrill. They do not have bad techniques. And the OP said it's not about personal preference. Jessie has the highest range hence i voted for her.
adele is not a great technical singer. that is why she had to get surgery since she strained her voice singing the way she does. both adele and gaga know their voices and are able to work their voices in a way that make them sound better than they actually are. adele is actually an "alright" singer. her talent is hyperbolated by the fact that she is the one popstar that does not seem to rely on gimmicks. people think, for whatever reason, that makes her super talented. jessie j technically has the highest vocal range, but her voice is often very grating and annoying to some people.
Gaga's just average, and all Jessie can do is overplay EVERY NOTE TO DEATH. There's nothing technical at all in that. No precision, no artistry. Listening to her doing live/acoustic is literally the worst thing ever.
Jessie J misuses her voice a lot, really. She's really into the whole vocal tricks and gymnastics sort of thing which is appropriate at times but I feel like she uses them just because she can which to me isn't a mark of a truly great vocalist.
Adele has limited capabilities when put up against Jessie J but she has real command over her vocals and doesn't overdo it and really understands her voice. My vote goes to her despite Jessie J being more technically capable.
Gaga is certainly talented but when compared to some of our more stronger vocalists she's just sort of average. The counterargument will of course be "well, she puts on a production so she gets a pass," but this is about vocals so Adele wins on that front.
But they're all singers. They do not sound shrill. They do not have bad techniques. And the OP said it's not about personal preference. Jessie has the highest range hence i voted for her.
And again, tell me how having the biggest range constitute you as being the best vocalist?
Adele. She has a good technique and her voice has a lot of emotion. It really stands out and is the only reason why Adele stands out(apart from her size).
I love Gaga's vocals too but they're just good, not anything special.Jessie J might have a good range and inherent talent but I CANNOT listen to that girl, her acrobatics are annoying af.She's the worst for me.
I have voted for who I think makes the best use of her voice, not who I think is the most capable.Cause being capable leads nowhere if you don't know how to use it properly.
And again, tell me how having the biggest range constitute you as being the best vocalist?
Maybe I din't explain it clearly, but I am looking for the strongest vocal. It doesn't matter whether they use their vocal well, I mean who has the most powerful voice.
