It not just a children's series
In fact the 4th book and up is more young adult/ Adult read.



Non the less, flawless writing and series. One of my favorite series ever.

The books are ****ing incredible and people of all ages concur. I don't care for the 5th movie (too much was left out from the book), but the rest are pretty great.

I can't believe it's over

Oh yeah I know, but I couldn't/wouldn't stamp is as "The best book series of all time" (even though it probably is ) because that would be controversial

But it definitely is the best children's series of all time

I read the first book last year for the hell of it during study hours to kill time after homework. Then I forgot all about the series. Again while bored during study hours this year I read the second book and became obsessed. That was like 4-5 months ago and now I'm on book 6 I've been reading them nonstop.

My favorites go:

2 > 4 > 1 > 6 > 5 > 3

Although they are all great.

Definitely the best, most successful and most iconic series ever created. Nothing could be so close to perfect. All movies and books are amazing!

the first few books kind of are though

It wasn't targeted towards kids but I know many 2nd graders who read the books

Like everything, the series has its flaws but I am a huge fan all the same.
I haven't read through them all for a while, I have such a long reading list ugh

Who is everyone's favourite characters? Mine are Hermione, Lupin & Tonks. Oh and Professor Umbridge because i think she's written really well, J.K made a really good character there you can't help but truly want to strangle the woman when you are reading her bits.
