Clearly wanted as she was voted in the finale by the fans. Before the save she didn't even hit bottom 3. Skylar wasnt even popuilar like Lauren/Scotty or the previous Idol country contestants.

I'd expect arguments or so saying...

"Jessica isn't local...so she would / should go International"...

"Duh..how can she go International..if she ISN'T EVEN LOCAL to begin with..Poor ha"...

We can't judge Idol performances sales for her album. Who knows Maybeshe'll be successful, or she wont.

This. Anyone that knows anything about vocals knows PP was nothing next to Jessica (not that they can't consider artistry or whatever). I'd say only Skylar and Joshua were somewhat close to Jessica.

They can use the flop argument all they want (because gworl she is flopping) but they will stay mad that Jessica is incredibly talented. I doubt this will be the end of her.

There's defensive and there's defensive. Actually in the Idol thread it wasn't so much that people were all over Jessica, it was mostly praise really, it was that you guys would take to attacking Phillip and Joshua and whoever else nearly every week simply for the fact that they weren't Jessica.

Joshua was my third favorite , I never really attacked Phillip; I just thought he was very average, most of the time expect the last 3 weeks of the competition where he stepped his game up; but overall of the season? He was a very mediocre contestant. But congrats to himon his success so far. I hope he can continue being successful, because Idol needs successful winners. I do not want another DeWyze situation.

I hope Jessica is successful in her future debut album, because her talent at her age is crazy talented. She deserves to be successful as I been a fan over two years before Idol because of YouTube.

I honestly have no problem with Jessica. I don't really care for her as a performer, but she's talented and deserves success. But having to defend the other contestants, particularly the male contestants, from her stans got to be a chore.

Really, I only made the Phillip thread to see if some of the bitterness subsided. Doesn't look like it.
