DJ Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC was shot and killed in Queens on
Wednesday, October 30, according to police.

Authorities confirmed that Jay, born Jason Mizell,
was fatally shot inside a studio on Merrick Boulevard at 7:30
p.m. local time. Another victim, Urieco Rincon, was shot in the
leg. Rincon, 25, is listed in stable condition at an area
hospital.

Mizell, 37, is survived by his wife, three sons,
mother, brother and sister.
