TRL returns to the normal top ten requested videos of the
day. The top ten has had a five day hiatus since the last
top ten which was on last Monday. Today, some videos had
taken advantage of the hiatus and some have fell down a couple of
spots.
- Brandon from Incubus called in and talked with Carson. He
said that they had played a show on Saturday in New York because
"our best weapon was to come together peacefully and make
music," stated by Brandon. The show vibe was very
difficult but everyone was patriotic.
- Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit called and talked about what he
feels like currently after the tragedy of last week. Carson
also asked if there was new music from Limp Bizkit because he had
thought he heard it on the radio. But, Fred had told Carson
that there is no new music from them because they didn't finish a
song for the movie "Zoolander" in time.
- People called or sent in e-mails to TRL to make requests of
videos that they want to see. Videos that were aired were
2Pac - "Keep Ya Head Up," Limp Bizkit -
"Faith," Backstreet Boys - "Shape Of My
Heart."
- Mandy Moore called in to talk about how she feels after the
tragedy. Also, she tells TRL that her father is an American
Airline's pilot and she was scared how he might have been on the
flight that crashed into the World Trade Center. But, she
said that she was kind of scared when she flew back to stay with
her family yesterday.
- Paramedics from Ohio came on to TRL to talk about how they are
helping out at Ground Zero. TRL is giving them a free dinner
at a steak restaurant tonight near their hotel.

Britney Spears will be donating $1 from each ticket sold towards
the children of the victims
from last Tuesday's tragedy during her North American tour.
She would like to raise $2 million dollars for the children.
- Due to last week's tragedy, Hollywood has many movies which will
need change because they have the World Trade Center in the movie
or they talk about terrorists or even having a bomb on an airplane
in the movies. Some of the movies which have to be postponed
and fixed without the World Trade Center scenes are
"Spider-Man," "Men In Black 2",
"Collateral Damage", and "Training Day".
The only big release for this weekend's movie box office is
"Glitter" with Mariah Carey.
- With last week's tragedy, the Emmy's have been pushed back to
October 7th and also, the main channels, CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC, WB,
etc.. will have to work on different times to air their fall
premiere season with all the news that have been airing the past
week. Four of the main channels will be coming together to
get an all star event to raise money. More details will come
soon. |
