last fan standing contest winners are crowned!
these four normal and regular people like you and me were on an mtv.com contest.  if they win the contest, they were able to present the viewer's choice award on the vma on thursday.  so, the four finalists had advanced into the final level beating over millions of entries.  when they entered the studio, carson questioned them with rapid fire questions to get to know the contestants.  then, dave chappelle, a comedian came in to help the people at home choose a winner, so trl put them in a vma atmosphere where they would present fake awards and also say a speech while dave chappelle would give each contestant a different scenario.  in the end, serene and ryan will present the viewer's choice award on thursday!

 hiliarie was at the metropolitan opera house (met) with alicia keys and britney spears talking about their performance and also their nomination for the awards.  hiliarie tried to get some juice on the up coming performance from britney on the vmas but britney would like it to be a surprise.  so, i guess we will see these two superstars on vma night on thursday.

some of the casinos in las vegas has placed bets on who they think might win the video of the year.  their choice for the winner is "lady marmalade."  also, mtv asked young hollywood stars such as jason biggs, shannon elizabeth, matthew lillard, ashton kutcher, topher grace, freddie prince jr., sarah michelle gellar, seann william scott.  most of their choices was fat boy slim's "weapon of choice" with christopher walken in the video.
