:: nothing much had happened on today's show, except, trl wanted to limit
the speaking time so they could show you more of the videos. so, the trl researcher
had found that out of many top ten shows, on the show, people only spoke for around 9
minutes and 47 seconds. carson made a deal that, if he can have a show with him
speaking, news, callers, window love, and fans talking under that time (9:47), then he
would win. if he couldn't and the counter reached 0, everyone would get a prize.
so, during the show, callers, fans from outside, and john norris was stalling time
by talking slow, giving shoutouts and more so it would waste carson's time.
:: during the show, carson bought some pizzas for people. he said that
if he were to lose, everyone in the audience would get pizza. if he wins, then the
camera men would get all the pizzas to themselves.
:: during the show, carson would keep saying like "you are the weakest
link, goodbye" and "that's not fair!" so he wouldn't waste time.
:: at the end of the show, carson had to give everyone in the audience pizza
because he couldn't limit the non-video time under 9 minutes 47 seconds. carson paid
the pizza man (roberto) with $200. he felt that it wasn't enough for tips, so he
gave roberto an autographed david justice jersey.
:: today, trl gave away a janet jackson autographed poster and an
autographed eve cd.
