Why Did Rihanna's Messy ANTI Era Still End Up Superior?
The undisputed queen of pop Rihanna who now exists in a lane all by herself may have had the messiest era in recent history yet ANTI seems to prove that she is still able to push your hairlines back further and further until completely scalped. And she did it without playing it safe or caring much at all.
While the owners of TIDAL are now desperately trying to sabotage ANTI due to its effortless superiority, can we take a moment to simply acknowledge that with or without an era as messy as R8 Rihanna still wins.

This album shows that's a lie. She's a queen of many things, but of "pop" she ain't.
I still don't get the mess around the era. They were sitting on a goldmine this whole time. They had Kiss It Better and Love On The Brain for God's sake
But it doesn't even matter. One of the best albums EVER released by a pop girl
So after 7 eras with multiple #1s and featuring on some of those, giving her very first Grammy, allowing her to benefit from his relationship to get bigger, promoting her more than the other artists on his rooster, keep pushing her when she was considered the "rival" of his wife, keep befriending her when it was said his wife "hates" her, now all of sudden, JayZ is trying to sabotage her? Wouldn't that be bad for his pocket.
Ugh. So long as it's finally been released, I'm happy enough, but when stans crawl so far up their fave's butts, like in this thread, it compels me to listen to anything else.
That being said, still giving this album it's first listen, on track 10 now. Don't ruin this for me with your gushing.
