Hey everyone! Welcome to my first ever Best Of! I decided to take part in this because I personally believe 2015 has been one of the best years in music for a while, and I want to share some of my favorite songs and albums with you guys. There will be some very popular songs and albums, but also a lot of undiscovered and less popular music involved.

Miley Cyrus surprised the World with a free, new album after the 2015 VMAs, and surprisingly, it turned out to be an emotional, raw and uncut album full of lowkey bops. Dooo It!, the lead single of the album withstood overwhelming dislike, because of its raunchy and downright inappropriate video, however after Cyrus' sexy performance at the VMAs with former RuPaul's Drag Race contestants, it grew likable. You have to appreciate Miley's artistic integrity with Dead Petz. She clearly believes in her sound, and what she is doing with her career. Will it work out for her? We'll see.
Does the album sound free? Yes. Were people expecting this out of Miley? Of course they were, I mean her Instagram is basically a spitting image of the album cover. Did we expect it to be good? Not really. Was it? Yes.

ASTR is quite a bit irrelevant to ATRL scene, but nevertheless, they serve BOPS. A duo from New York, Zoe and Adam recently opened up for Ryn Weaver on her Misfit Toys Tour. Although stripped down and basic on stage, their music radiates dance to a whole new level. This is an honorable mention solely for the fact that this is a 6-track EP, rather than a full length LP. I believe firmly that when ASTR decides to release it however, it will be amazing.
Is this better than their debut EP, Varsity? Yes. Better Live Than The Recording? Yes. Interesting Duo To Follow? Of course. I can see big things from Zoe and Adam in the future. They scream club and dance, which is on the rise today.
