I have last night and it was awful, I couldn't move,and I heard all kind of ****. I heard this strange sound,some chains and loud noise under my window,like smth was trying to get in,my god it was so loud,and I couldn't move at all,and all I heard was some (my screaming) screaming in my head. It lasted about a minute,and it scared **** out of me. Being awake while my body was paralyzed was so awful,and on top of anything that presence from outside got in,and I felt this bloody pressure around and on me worst few minutes of my life

I love science explanation,way more than spiritual/religious explanation :/



Update: I cannot believe this happened again during my afternoon nap. I tried to get some sleep literally few minutes ago,and I was dreaming smth and snap this **** again,this time it lasted longer and was more intense. As someone said I tried to focus on my breathing but it didn't help. Now I feel like my entire body is soar :sweeps:

Its just your brain isn't fully awake, but your body is. It snaps back in a couple of seconds.
But It happened to me 2 years ago while I was watching Pretty Little Liars. I took a little nap and it happened. It was scary.

EDIT: I read that it has some connections with your position of sleeping (but doesn't have to be main reason) and also that part of your brain stays without oxygen or something hihi

point is to me that sounded like a demon trying to attack you sistren. it wasnt trying to be funny at all hence the "you need to get help because you could be in danger" part. but I know you asked for a scientific response and you got one by TheSoneNavy. you need to stop assuming the worst.

Ok I'm sorry,I'm stressed bcz I'm legit scared,mostly bcz I am religious person,and I'm trying to block that side of it. I thought you were making fun of me,thats why I got so "defensive"

I felt like I was dreaming. In fact I was. This woman was following me in a shopping mall and she's was freaky as hell. Eventually she grabbed my arm and I started screaming "SHE WON'T LET GO. SHE WON'T LET GOOOOO.A AARRRRGH" and then I realised I was awake and making this weird noise as if I was trying to scream. I couldn't move at all. Eventually my lil scream materialised and my body was 'freed'.

If you were awake,but couldn't move nor talk (but you knew you are awake) than yes. I read that hallucinations are plausible too. Hence why I heard this "entity" while I was awake.

It was just for about 5-10 seconds but it was the scariest **** I've ever felt. I thought that I was being possessed and freaked out, or that I was dying and that was what death felt like I couldn't move, or open my eyes but I was feeling everything and was thinking which freaked me out because it was like something was keeping me from controlling my body and only my mind was conscious.

I never want to repeat that experience again. Ever.
