I took the SATS for the second time today. My first try I got a 1760 (1140 2 score) and I was wondering how y'all did?

In my first try I got 1170 on CR and math combined. Can't remember the writing section.

For the second try I did way better, a 1330 in CR and math and overall a 2050. So if anything keep trying, you'll do better your second time!

The wait is the worst part of the whole SAT experience. As the day gets closer you get more and more anxious.

I tried it and only got a 2090. CR is trash. I had 780 Math, 720 Writing, but 560 CR. I'll keep my 34 ACT

Dd I was the opposite. I did substantially better on Critical Reading than on Math and Writing.

The first time I took the SAT I TOTALLY spaced on the essay though. I got a two because my mind just shut off.

Is average these days still around 1700? Or (1600-1800)?

I also heard they were going to remove the writing section. When I took it, they JUST added the writing section (like 1-3 years before it just was Math and Reading).

Barron's. The most important thing I remember my teacher told me was that the SAT does not measure your intelligence, it tests your ability to follow instructions.

Once you learn HOW to take the exam thoroughly, it's really just a matter of sprinkling some knowledge here and there and you will get where you need to go.

2250 it was a long time ago and I don't remember exactly how many questions I got wrong it wasn't many but I do know I didn't get an 800's in any section it was 750's. I think I got 2 wrong in math but I don't remember anymore, plus the test is curved so my score might be higher or lower if I took it a different month. I know people who lost 30 points for 1 math question wrong and someone who lost like 90 for missing 5.

The test is stupid.

Both scores were among the highest in my school That's pretty sad.
