I'm going to have to go with Madonna's "I Love New York." Everything on Confessions on a Dance Floor is perfect and I think Madonna's song does a better job of capturing the New York attitude. Taylor's song is nice too, but Madonna's is the perfect New York anthem!
I Love New York is one of those Madonna cocky songs with cringeworthy lyrics that I should hate, but I can't because it's too catchy and its production is flawless Welcome To New York is one of the weaker tracks on 1989, it's kinda boring imo.
Both are amongst the weakest on their respective albums but Madonna's lyrics are ridiculously cringe-inducing and not even the gllittery production can rescue that mess
