Lorde, and Lana both sold around 14k this week, and Lorde's album was released a long ass time ago -

US album sales: #18 @LanaDelRey, Ultraviolence 14,000 (284,000 total).
US album sales: #20 @lordemusic, Pure Heroine 14,000 (1,361,000 total).

Why isn't Lana selling way better than Lorde based on release history?

There is no way how to you know that since she has released only one album that had amazing numbers, one huge hit, one hit and longevity.

Lorde performed the PH singles a lot, while Lana did no promo or performing.

Lorde's music is played on the radio much more then Lana's.

PH is much better than UV and has Royals and Team to sell the album (as well as Tennis Court to a lesser extent).
