Pop royalty Jessie J meets Prince Charles
And it seems that Jessie is certain that
Prince Charles owns one or two fo her CD's, adding:
"He asked to meet me... I guess he wants to meet me...I'd like to think he is a fan. That or I'm in trouble."
Jessie also used the opportunity to address recent concerns about sexualised pop music videos, and said she doesn't believe that they're here to stay.
"I think that pop culture moves and changes. It has its moments of greatness and its moments of weirdness...shock value and beauty," she explained.
"I always know that as a female artist you can't do anything until you test it. Until you test it, you don't know if it's going to work or not. I've been there and done it and thought maybe I don't want to do that again.
"The music industry's constantly evolving and changing. There are many artists coming through who are about vocals. That's what I'm trying to stand for."
She added: "It can't go that way, not for the younger generation coming up. There needs to be a levelling, a responsibility from everyone."
