Christina has never been afraid to look gaudy or over-the-top. She was being called a drag queen long before Gaga entered the picture. Christina did it at a time when there was really no other mainstream pop girl doing it.

Well if it was pre recorded and not good then they could have redone it and spliced in different parts. That's what they did to Mariah Carey when she performed on AI and they cut and paste her performing three different times. So that can't be the reason why
I really wish they would have aired that performance. Your Body was very reactive on iTunes when they showed a snippet of the video, so a full performance would have helped even more
