Ok so I think it's fair to say that both Demi and Selena have been getting a lot of media attention this year. But who do you think gets more than the other???

This. Selena gets a lot of media attention for her different projects and her relationship.

Demi used to get a lot of media attention because of her personal issues and now mostly gets X Factor attention because of Britney.

That's not why they get most of their media attention tho. Selena gets most of it by being Justin's girlfriend and Demi gets most of it by going to rehab as a Disney star and being next to Britney at the judging table on X-Factor. Not because of things they "truly" work hard for.
