Running for 15 seasons and airing from 2002 to 2016, the show has built a legacy and has managed to start the careers of some of the biggest players in music currently. AI also has theatre stars, television stars, and even an Oscar-winner (Jennifer Hudson) in its distinguished alumni. In the U.S., there have been (and are) many competitors like The X-Factor and The Voice, but none of these shows have reached the highs
