Her last 3 albums seem to be some of her most polarising efforts, at least from what I read on here. I've always felt like people in general say that Confessions was her last great album when really these three also have some great gems on them.

So, what do you think is the best one out of the three.

How would you rank the three of them in order of preference?

I don't love any of them despite having been a fan for decades.

I'd give it to MDNA though. It had some sublime moments(I'm Addicted, Love Spent) and plenty of strong songs(I Don't Give A, I'm A Sinner, Gang Bang).

Hard to say

'Hard Candy' is definitely not my fave but it's the most cohesive (of the list)
'MDNA' has the most potential hits But the all album sounds like a 'Now! That's What I Call Music 2012' would be.
Finally 'Rebel Heart' isn't well produced but it has the most "interesting" sound.

I would say : Rebel Heart > MDNA > HC

Personally I prefer MDNA as an album but Rebel Heart has higher peaks.

Hard Candy: cohesive. I feel like she could have done an entire album with the neptunes and another with Justin, Timbaland and Danja.

MDNA: sounds really cheap, the only songs I like are love spend, GMAYL, GGW, I'm addicted.

Rebel heart: way too many songs. A mess. Inconsistent. Boring, nothing wowed me.

My head says HC but my Rebel Heart says RH. It's a more ambitious and thoughtful album, even if it has some huge duds. HC has almost no connection to Madonna the human imo. Pretty much just Miles Away, which is lovely, but more like a lullaby than a true melodic ballad.
