No Doubt: 6th Studio Album Anticipation (Spring 2012)

TBA is the sixth studio album by No Doubt, a globally successful American rock band from Anaheim, California that formed in 1986. The band has spawned five albums over two decades, including a string of well-renowned singles ("Don't Speak", "Just a Girl", "It's My Life", "Hey Baby", "Underneath It All"). In 2003, the band took a hiatus in order to explore other opportunities, which included vocalist Gwen Stefani's two solo studio albums and bassist Tony Kanal's production explorations with several artists. In this time, all members took time to start their own families. The band reunited for a US tour in 2009 and has been working for a few years on the new album, due out in Spring 2012.

Although Gwen can’t offer an exact date, the L.A.M.B. rocker reveals, “we’ve been going for awhile trying to make this record and it’s been super challenging but really fun, we’re trying to enjoy the moment of writing and…it’s just a really fun process and I think it’s going to be out this year,” adding, “it’s generally a really happy album…the main thing we were trying to do is write really catchy good songs.”
Gwen further revealed, “we got about 10 songs done and we want to do a few more just in case, but it’s a really good record, I really love this record.”
