Harvard-educated Tyra Banks is returning with an 18th cycle of Top Model.
For its 18th cycle, "America's Next Top Model" is hosting a British invasion. Seven American girls will compete side-by-side with seven imports from "Britain's Next Top Model."
Kelly Cutrone joins the judges panel for ANTM, and guest judges for this cycle include singer Kelly Osbourne , reality star Kris Jenner , singer Estelle , fashion designer Georgina Chapman, "So You Think You Can Dance" host Cat Deeley, former Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta, model Beverly Johnson, designer Barney Cheng and more.
We cannot wait to see all the "British" things Tyra Banks incorporates. We hope she does every elimination in a cockney accent - "I only 'ave one pitcher in moi 'and."
The season premieres Wednesday, Feb. 29 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on the CW.
I'm excited! But how is it fair that All-Stars are competing against all newbies?!
Well, none of these girls ever had to deal with Tyra before, and we know how she could get out of hand. And the ANTM contestants are more catty (exception with Australia's), plus they're dealing with American girls, judges, and environment.
Wow they got several of the Runner Ups and not irrelevants it seems. Never watched the UK one.
Out of all the international versions, Britian isn't so high up the ranks in the Top Model franchise, pretty equivalent to ANTM. The only successful Top Model franchise are Australia and Russia. Both cycles produced two supermodels (and I'm talking about Vogue, landing in D&G campaign, etc), and majority of the Australia contestants are signed even if they don't win.
Alice Burdeu (Australia)
And Ksenia Kahnovich. She refused her contract with NEXT modeling agency when she won the Russian version of Top Model, because she got a better offer - IMG Models. QUEEN
I was disappointed because Allison didnt win last cycle
And she is definitely the most bankable girl of ALL the Top Models, besides Fatima.
Allison has the biggest fan base of everysingleTopModel!
The only down side with her is her runway, and that could have and should have been easily fixed.
They pick 2 of the weakest Top Model versions to go against each other.
Australia's Next Top Model slays all the others. It's the only one where the girls actually get decent careers and with photo shoots, situations, and lessons that are realistic and fashionable.
That's so unfair. Obviously the girls with much more experience will stay longer. They should've casted some models from the previous ANTM US seasons like Chantal.
They've done this concept in another cycle before, but it will be the first time for America's Next Top Model, so it is possible for a girl for the UK to win this cycle of America's Next Top Model. The UK contestants will be all-stars from previous BNTM, while the ANTM girls will be new. They are:
Jasmina Robinson (Cycle 2)(3rd Place)
Louise Watts (Cycle 3)(2nd Place)
Catherine Thomas (Cycle 4)(2nd Place)
Annaliese Dayes (Cycle 5)(7th Place)
Ashley Brown (Cycle 5)(4th Place)
Sophie Sumner (Cycle 5)(2nd Place)
Alisha White (Cycle 6)(2nd Place)
Editing first post, posted this incase anyone wants to read it

If she's so bankable, why didn't she get a modeling contract after appearing on her first cycle? And Elyse and Mollie Sue are the most successful contestants modelling-wise.
