I thought that I would go ahead and start this topic so we can just talk about what we expect or want for this season before the 10th season of Big Brother in the U.S. starts on July 13th.

I think if I was American and watching this, I think I'd like Libra. But I remember I was in Long Island in 2006, and I was watching Big Brother season 8, to see if it was any better than the British version, but I was very disappointed, they weren't very fascinating characters, I just need to tell you Americans, that if you lived in Britain, you would absouletely adore the British version.

we had the exact same BB in Hungary as you have in the UK and it flopped hard because it concentrated only on the everyday routine like washing hair, brushing teeth, taking baths and cutting nails. I know that the UK B is not really that bad but still it's so fu*king boring when the commentator announces things like: "all the housemates are in the bedroom" and then the camera cuts to the bedroom and we get to see everyone SLEEPING - wow so fascinating :boring:
While B US is so much fun to watch!
I can't wait till 13 July!! it's gonna be so awesome with this diverse cast!

I was shocked when I found out that she was actually 53
I can't stand the British version. Yes it's more popular, but it's way to confusing and hard to follow. I like our easy three times a week show that holds one for eviction/HOH, one for veto, and one for nominations. I've watched this show since season 1 and I've loved it. It is 1,000,000,000,000 times better than Survivor. Survivor, it seems like, they are doing way too much to keep their viewers. Big Brothers just has a twist every season, then drops it the next season for something different for excitement, not viewers. I'm glad they're going retro!!!! I would want the 80s room! Awesome! (Since I've never lived in the 80s, but it'd be cool!) I can't believe they're going to have a 75 year old!!!!!
I heard rumors about a disappearing room and some mirrors included in the big twist this year!
but the new house is waiting for me to fall in love it it unlike last season when I instantly fell in love with the cabin-log kinda house
Yes but Americans are used to their series, so when they see the British version, they're not used to our plots. I think the American version has better ideas, but the Brits have so many amazing characters, like The Cookie Monster, The Albino, The Annoying Justin Timberlake Look A Like, The Blind man, The Couple. I think I feel the same also but, because when I watched the American series, I wasn't used to the characters or plots. I much prefer the British version but oh well

well you're right about the personalities
