Season 7 was great, not a single episode short of hilarious.

Really the most under rated show of the year. Solid plot, great writing and cast, but FLOP ratings. Probably going to be cancelled after the first season finishes...what went wrong...

This time, Caffrey proposes a deal with the FBI, as part of a work-release program. After some hesitation, Burke agrees, and thus begins this unconventional arrangement where Caffrey helps Burke apprehend white collar criminals.

The show got off to a great start in season 1, but ever since season 2 it has been getting increasingly difficult to watch. Tbh, the first few episodes of season 3 were mortifying to watch. Needless to say I don't know if ill even watch the whole season

In the immortal words of Charles Dickens: “It is a far, far better Dome that I do than I have ever Domed; it is a far, far better Dome that I go to than I have ever Domed.” Truer words? Never Domed. Last night saw the finale of the first season of Under the Dome, the most popular new series of the summer among both human beings and Domes pretending to be human beings. A good season finale can rescue a bad season. Whatever happened last night was not a good season finale. A summer of incoherent plotting ended incoherently. There was, however, some minor clarity about the mystery of the Dome — it’s almost certainly created by aliens, unless it’s created by people from the future and/or cyborg angels. The episode ended on a cliffhanger that made no sense whatsoever. But hey, it’ll be back for another season in 2014

It stars Julianna Margulies, Christine Baranski, Archie Panjabi, Matt Czuchry, and Josh Charles, and features Chris Noth in a recurring role. The current executive producers are Ridley Scott, Charles McDougall, and David W. Zucker. It is a heavily serialized show with season-long story arcs that also features stand alone procedural story lines that will be resolved or concluded by the end of each episode. This is a rarity among The Good Wife's broadcaster CBS as most of their shows are procedural.
The Good Wife has received universal critical acclaim: USA Today said that The Good Wife is "TV's best drama, period...if you're not watching, correct that mistake.", while The Atlantic said that the show "is delivering the best drama on network television". TIME referred to it as "the best thing on TV outside cable". Esquire reviewed The Good Wife as "The Best Show on Television Right Now." TV critic Emily Nussbaum of The New Yorker compared Alicia Florrick, the show's protagonist, to Walter White of Breaking Bad. The New York Times says that The Good Wife "stands out among newer fall shows" and that it is "miles ahead of anything else that's on at the moment."

Season 3 was definitely an improvement from season 2 and ended on several massive cliffhangers so I'll definitely be watching season 4 even though Justin Chatwin (who plays Jimmy) won't be returning.

The show's producers sought to distinguish it from previous American working-class shows by highlighting how Frank's alcoholism affects his family. Paul Abbott, creator of the original, said, "It's not My Name Is Earl or Roseanne. It's got a much graver level of poverty attached to it. It's not blue collar; it's no collar." When John Wells, the showrunner, began pitching the show, he had to fight efforts to place the show in the South or in a trailer park. He explained, "We have a comedic tradition of making fun of the people in those worlds. The reality is that these people aren't 'the other' – they're people who live four blocks down from you and two blocks over".

According to the show's pilot, the phrase "Mad men" was a slang term coined in the 1950s by advertisers working on Madison Avenue to refer to themselves. The plot focuses on the business of the agencies as well as the personal lives of the characters, regularly depicting the changing moods and social mores of the United States in the 1960s.
Mad Men has received widespread critical acclaim, particularly for its historical authenticity, visual style, costume design, acting, writing, and directing, and has won many awards, including fifteen Emmys and four Golden Globes. It is the first basic cable series to win the Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series, winning it in each of its first four seasons. In 2013, TV Guide ranked it sixth in its list of the sixty greatest dramas of all time, and it was ranked seventh in a list of the 101 best-written TV series of all time by the Writers Guild of America.

Didn't discover this show until only last month but I managed to binge watch the entire series in a week. Can't wait for the second season to premiere, the first season finished on such a big cliffhanger!

When Carroll's son Joey (Kyle Catlett) is abducted by his father's followers, the FBI discovers that it is the first step in a wider plan for Carroll to escape custody, humiliate Hardy, and murder Carroll's ex-wife Claire (Natalie Zea).

Hands down one of the best shows of this year. Loving the story lines behind Quinn and Langston, although Mellie has been pushed to the sideline and I would definitely love to see more of her. Getting really sick and tired of the Fitz - Olivia soapy love story and the whole B16 story but nonetheless Scandal more than deserves #6.
