600,000 is platinum in the UK (which is unfair seeing as Platinum albums = 300k)

So with it almost being half of the US amount I would say that it would more likely be equivalent to 2x platinum in the US.

But if we were going to to go by the album amount (300K) , Then it would be 3xplatinum.

I'd say 5m-6m. Only few songs have reached this amount recently in the UK (Crazy, Sex on Fire, Poker Face, I Gotta Feeling, Bleeding Love, Hallelujah and now Someone Like You.)

The next songs to reach 1m single sales in the UK are probably Price Tag, Love the Way You Lie and Only Girl. It's becoming more common and easier to accomplish, but it's still an amazing achievement.
