I actually have zero recollection of what went on that day. I asked my mom about it before and she said the district cancelled school after the first plane crashed and everyone had to pick their kids up (I was 7 and in 2nd grade). I don't remember any of it, even though this is the type of event that would have a vivid stay in your mind until you die.
Interestingly enough I ran across a study claiming a lot of people born post 1990 don't really remember what went on that day. Are you one of those people?
I was 7 and I remember very clearly. My second grade teacher got a phone call and just kept saying, "Oh my God" over and over again. She then told us what happened. Then, I remembered going home to watch television and footage of the towers burning and falling was playing on every single channel.
born '92, and all I remember is that it was all around the news
my parents kept repeatedly saying 'oh my god'
at a young age it was shocking to look at scenes like those that jumped from the building
I was 13
I was shuffling through chanels on TV and at first me and my grandma thought it was a movie until we realized that it was on almost every other chanel
We watched the second tower being hit and we watched them fall down.
I'm not American so we kinda went on with our lives the next day.
